This project was completed as the final project for the User-Centered Design of Limb Prostheses Graduate course at UPitt. The goal of this project was to interview a lower limb amputee and take them through the design and prototype process to address a pain point connected to their prostheses experience. In this process, my team and I developed a device designed with initial liner donning comfort in mind. The Prostand was created to warm/cool the client's liner during storage to promote the user's willingness to maintain consistent prosthesis wear time.
